I participated in an Influencer Activation Program on behalf ofInfluence-Central for X Out. I received samples of X Out to facilitate my review and a thank you item for participating.
I feel for my kids, as I watch them make their way through that roller coaster season of life known as adolescence. It’s such an important time, when you are just beginning to figure out who you are, what your gifts and strengths might be, and what things are worth pursuing in life. And just as all these mind-bending thought processes are occurring, something else of critical importance is going hog-wild inside your body: hormones. And powerful things they are! They give us drive, passion, emotions, and oh, yeah: zits.
When you’re just trying on *who* you want to be, what you’d really rather NOT be trying on is spots on your face. And because I’ve struggled with those spots ever since adolescence, I know that they’re the last thing a teen needs as a distraction, while they’re busy figuring out the really IMPORTANT things about life.
We’ve tried lots of products, without much success, so when the offer came for us to review X Out, a one step Wash-In treatment, I was very interested. It’s hard to get teens to faithfully apply a multi-step program. Ask me how I know. And with my teen’s busy lifestyle: school, tutoring, homework, Bible study, church youth group, dance, dance, and more dance, skin care needs to be quick and dirty. Scratch that. Clean. Quick and clean. One and done. And X Out was designed to be used by itself. No other steps are needed. And that fits into my busy teen’s lifestyle.
The X Out Wash-In Treatments contain three components: 8.5% benzoyl peroxide, which is a breakout fighting medicine, along with smooth beads that help exfoliate dead skin cells, AND a moisturizer, to help protect and smooth the skin. I think it’s pretty clever to combine all 3 components in one wash-in treatment. They also sent along a few extra products that we could try as well: a spot corrector to apply directly to any offending spots, a body bar, for all over usage, and shine free product that you can wear under your makeup.
I asked my daughter if she wanted to give X Out a try, and she was interested, so she’s been using it for almost exactly 4 weeks now. I also asked her if she’d be willing to make a video for me, discussing her experience with the product, so here’s a video her Dad shot the other day.
If you’re interested in checking out the products for yourself, here’s a link to their website: https://www.xout.com/, where you can purchase X Out online. I do find it to have been a helpful product for my daughter, and she did, too.

I will be looking at this for my teens. I loved the video review by Caroline. She always looks so beautiful and I love hearing her talk.

Interesting! Is the scent more floral or is it something that males would use?

Julia, my daughter - probably because she has an older brother - kind of likes scents that are more masculine. She likes Old Spice Fiji deodorant! LOL So, based on that, and after consulting with her, I'd say it would be male-friendly. She says it has a "clean" scent. Hope that helps!

My boys like it and use it. I found that we don't go thru it as quickly as the auto ship sends it and the company is really great about delaying shipments if you have a back stock of product. Customer service is super helpful too.

Barbie, that is REALLY good to hear, because I can't testify first hand to their customer service...yet. :)
