It’s no secret I’m a big fan of Bosch. I have a Bosch Universal Mixer, with an Ice Cream Maker, a blender, and a food processor, that I’ve told you all about!
But for those of you who are in the market for a new dishwasher, I am happy to share some of the information that Best Buy shared with me in regard to the Bosch 800 Series Dishwasher, and you can get this and another appliances at sites like https://www.forsale.plus which specialize in the sell of new or used appliances to adjust your budget.
What’s the Deal with the Bosch 800 Series Dishwasher?
The Bosch 800 Series Dishwasher is designed for people who are in search of a premium dishwasher, in relation to design, engineering and reliability. In short, it’s perfect for those of us who enjoy cooking for family and friends. Bosch uses the term “High Touch Tech” in its description, which means it’s made for folks who appreciate the advances of technology, but who also like our technology to be easy to operate.
The new Bosch 800 Series dishwasher delivers a sparkling clean and dry with advanced PrecisionWash technology and patented CrystalDry technology. Let me tell you about some of its features.
Features of the Bosch 800 Series:
- The patented CrystalDry™ technology transforms moisture into heat up to 176F for the ultimate dry, even for plastics. No plippage!!! (Plipping is MY term for that icky little plastic lip drip you experience whenever you unload the plastics from the dishwasher, and the plastic lip drips that drop all over your otherwise dry, clean dishes. So annoying! And now, so unnecessary.)
- I’m very impressed by their efficiency. Every Bosch dishwasher is ENERGY STAR qualified and meets or exceeds federal guidelines, for year-round energy savings. Their technology includes PrecisionWash, whereby intelligent sensors continually scan and check the progress of dishes throughout the cycle, and powerful spray arms target every item of every load, for the ultimate clean.
-
On the control panel, you can choose from 6 wash cycles including five-level wash, 5 options like Extra Dry. You’ll be able to program a cycle quickly. The integrated controls make it easy with simple touch technology.
- Can you say quiet? I said, CAN YOU SAY QUIET???? (We used to have to leave the room to have a conversation, when we turned on our old dishwasher.) The Bosch 800 Series has extremely quiet operation (42 dBA)- incorporates 18 unique sound-reducing technologies such as multiple insulation layers, grindless food filtration, and a sound absorbing base. There’s even an exterior Infolight®, so you’ll know for sure that it’s actually running.
- The large interior provides the loading flexibility to easily accommodate 16 place settings, (Holy Cow!!! 16 place settings!!!) and Bosch’s largest 3rd rack- the MyWay rack provides additional loading space for cereal bowls and large utensils. The width of the Bosch 800 Series Dishwasher is 24″.
- The Bosch 800 Series has a feature called 24/7 Aquastop®. that serves to protect your floors. The 24/7 Aquastop® has a 4-part leak prevention system that uses sensors to detect and stop leaks, and can even turn on by itself. If you’ve ever had to move out of your home for a week, due to having to replace your floors thanks to damage caused by an appliance leak, you’ll be able to immediately appreciate the awesomeness of this feature!
- Finally, I love knowing that their racks adjust easily. The Rackmatic® adjustable upper rack easily adjusts to 9 different positions, to allow taller items like stemware to fit in the middle rack while leaving room for bulky items below. The flip tines make loading wide bowls easy and ball bearing wheels provide a smooth glide. So, you’ll load and unload smoothly. It’s easy to adjust and move the racks, even while they’re full of dishes.

Thank you, Susan, for this helpful post. We'll be in the market for a new dishwasher shortly, and I've been considering a Bosch. This certainly helps narrow the choices.
