Somewhere, the Laundry Gods are laughing up their oh-so-white sleeves. The same week I was invited to help spread the word about the LG Twin Wash system, my old dryer went belly up!
And wouldn’t you know it? It happened just a couple of days after my husband and I stopped at the Best Buy location nearest us, to take a look at the new front loading LG Twin Wash system, in order for me to write this review.
LG Twin Wash System
Both the washer and dryer are front loading. LG makes pedestals that raise the washer and dryer to a more comfortable height. The pedestals also serve to provide added storage. But my favorite feature and option of the LG Twin Wash system is the SideKick Pedestal Washer, in which you can run a small load (perhaps a small load of delicates?), at the same time you’re washing a big load in the main washer. Isn’t that awesome? I usually wash my whites first, and then move on to washing colors. And invariably, after I’ve done the whites, and have moved on the reds & pinks, I stumble across just a few more white things that simply MUST get done immediately. With the LG SideKick Pedestal, you can run the bigger load in the main washer and the smaller load in the SideKick, concurrently.
I also loved the SIZE of the washer and dryer. They looked large enough to handle my queen sized comforter: something my present washer struggles to do. Yet, even with all that capacity, they’re energy efficient.
